Hawthorne Steel Pergola Canopy 14 x 12 Ft Outdoor Pergola with Sail Shade

Hawthorne Steel Pergola Canopy is a 14 x 12 ft outdoor structure with a galvanized steel frame and a light-filtering sail shade. It has a traditional pergola layout with a contemporary white finish. In addition, the included PowerPort provides electrical outlets and USB ports when connected to a suitable power source.
n
n14 x 12 Foot Size
n
nThe pergola measures 14 feet wide and 12 feet deep. Its assembled height is listed at 7 feet 8 inches.
n
nTherefore, check the complete installation area before assembly. Also, leave suitable space around the structure for access.
n
nGalvanized Steel Frame
n
nThe Hawthorne Steel Pergola Canopy uses galvanized steel for its main structure. In addition, the supplied details list a powder-coated exterior finish.
n
nThe steel frame creates the posts, beams, and overhead pergola structure. Its white finish also matches the product shown in the supplied image.
n
nSail Shade Canopy
n
nA soft sail shade comes with the pergola. The supplied information describes it as a light-filtering canopy made from breathable woven fabric.
n
nIn addition, the fabric allows air and water to pass through. Therefore, it provides partial overhead shade rather than acting as a solid waterproof roof.
n
nTraditional Design
n
nThe pergola combines a traditional overhead beam layout with geometric posts. Hidden internal joints also help create a cleaner exterior appearance.
n
nMoreover, the contemporary white finish gives the structure a neutral look for patios and other suitable outdoor spaces.
n
nPowder Coated Finish
n
nThe supplied details list powder coating and galvanization on the steel structure. Stainless steel hardware is also listed.
n
nTherefore, follow the maker’s care instructions to maintain the finish. Check the frame and hardware during normal seasonal care.
n
nPowerPort
n
nThe included removable PowerPort has three electrical outlets and three USB ports. It can be placed on a suitable pergola post.
n
nHowever, the PowerPort needs an external power source to operate. A power source is not included according to the supplied information.
n
nAnchoring Plates
n
nPowder-coated steel anchoring plates are included in the structure design. Post covers help conceal these plates after installation.
n
nTherefore, follow the installation instructions for proper placement and anchoring. Local ground conditions and installation requirements can vary.
n
nWind Rating
n
nThe supplied product information identifies the pergola as a Pro-Tect certified performance structure. It lists testing for winds up to 100 mph.
n
nHowever, proper assembly and anchoring are essential for structural performance. Therefore, follow all installation instructions and applicable local requirements.
n
nAssembly
n
nThe pergola requires assembly. The supplied information also lists support through the BILT app with step-by-step assembly guidance.
n
nBecause the assembled structure weighs 673 pounds, plan the installation before unpacking the components. Use suitable help and equipment where needed.
n
nOutdoor Living Space
n
nThe 14 x 12 ft footprint can define a patio seating or outdoor living area. For example, the supplied image shows outdoor furniture positioned beneath the structure.
n
nHowever, furniture and decorative items shown in the lifestyle image should not be treated as included unless separately listed in the package contents.
n
nPackage Information
n
nThe product ships in four listed boxes. Each box measures 89 3/4 x 18 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches.
n
